Join the Shire of Falcon's Keep in celebrating the 25th anniversary of Poor Man's Pennsic! 
Due to various factors there will be no public demo this year. 

No Food Vendor on Site.

General Site Infomation

Fees:
Member Weekend Camping: $20
Non-member Weekend Camping: $25
Member Day Fee (Saturday only): $10
Non-member Day Fee (Saturday only): $15


5 & under: Free
6-17 years old:
Weekend Camping: $10
Day Fee (Saturday only): $5


Family cap (2 adults and 2 minors or 1 adult, 4 minors): $60 for the weekend, $30 for day trip ( $5/adult non-member surcharge will be added to the family cap cost.)

Merchants are welcome- no merchant fee

Accessibility:
Ground is generally flat surface. Wheelchair accessible buildings. Circular site, connected by one large loop hard packed road. There will be accessible port-a-potties.

Saturday Court: Scheduled for 5pm. (time may change)

Site Rules

General Camping:
  • Only staff allowed on site before noon on Friday. All attendees must be off site by noon on Sunday. 
  • No drumming past 10 p.m. in any site. Soft bardic allowed after midnight in loud camping. 
  • No ghost camping allowed. 
  • There is no RV electrical/water outlets. 
  • Extremely limited electrical spots for camping. Those spots will be given at the discretion of the event steward and are not guaranteed. Contact event steward (Baroness Ysabella) at ear.54769@gmail.com.
  • The bar will not be open during the event. 
Garbage:
  • There is no trash pickup from campsites. Everyone is responsible for bringing their bags of trash to the dumpster. Make sure your campsites clean before you leave.
  • No tobacco related products, broken glass, or any other litter should be left on the ground.
Fire/Fire safety:
  • Fires must be in above ground fire containers only. 
  • Pack up ashes from campsite before leaving and dispose of properly.
  • No fire should be left unattended and must have a fire extinguisher/bucket of water nearby. 
Pets:
  • Dogs are allowed on site. Owners are 100% liable for the actions of their animal while on site. 
  • No registration needed.
  • Owners are responsible with cleaning up after their pet.
  • Dogs must be leashed at all times. Excessive barking or aggressive behavior may result in being kicked off from site.
  • Dogs are not allowed in any marshal list or archery range. 
Pond:
  • No swimming or playing in water allowed. There is no lifeguard. 
  • Fishing is allowed. Catch and release only. No eating the fish.
Miscellaneous:
  • No illegal substances allowed.
  • No smoking in the permanent structures.
  • Underaged drinking will not be tolerated. Any adults found serving minors or minors participating in underage drinking will be evicted. 
Failure to follow site rules may result in being evicted from site by event steward or shire seneschal. Those evicted from site will not receive a refund. Please stay safe and have fun.

​Open range with specialty shoots interspersed throughout the day. Announcements will be made for the specialty shoots.

Classes


10:15-11:15am
Intro to Japanese language and culture
- Lady Anastasia
Japanese (Nihongo, 日本語) writing Basic Alphabets, words and language. Questions are welcome. Participants should bring writing supplies. Children need to be accompanied unless they are able to follow class instruction. Class sizes should be small but all are welcome. 
12-1pm
Stamping in the Middle Ages - 
Mistress Tatiana Marana Melville, OP
This is a lecture class where we will discuss the history of stamping on fabric in the Middle Ages. Class length is 1.5 hours.
2-4pm
Creating period inks for stamping on fabric - 
Mistress Tatiana Marana Melville, OP
We will create at least two period inks and then stamp with them on fabric. This could be messy and we will be using oil based inks so wear old garb or bring an apron. Children should have a parent present. Class length is 2 hours.

Daytime Bardic

Times will be 10:00 - 11:30am and 1:30 - 3:30pm.
Come join us for bardic fun while the sun is shining!
